Hello everyone. Happy Monday. And if it feels, well, like Monday (Particularly if it’s rainy and gloomy situation like in our case), I know how to fix this. These Christmas Crepes with Cranberry Sauce will help you!
These crepes are so indulgent and delicious. Indeed, this name does not reflect the whole idea. It should have been something like that: “Christmas Crepes with Cranberry Sauce, Holiday Spices, and a Luscious Cream Cheese & White Chocolate Sauce”. Sounds better, right? But as you know, old uncle Google does not appreciate long names.
Christmas Crepes with Cranberry Sauce
Even though there’s 3 parts of this recipes, it’s fairly easy to make. Perhaps, the longest part would be making the crepes. I used this (French type crepes) recipe, but you can opt for your favourite. They should be quite thin.
Then, you will need to make an easy cranberry sauce. Both fresh or frozen cranberries would work (You might only need to cook the sauce with frozen cranberries one minute less or so.) I used honey as the sweetener and the combination of aromatics such as orange zest and spices (Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cardamom.) Perfect winter flavours! This sauce will be enough for 6-8 crepes.
Lastly, you will need to make an easy cream cheese and white chocolate sauce. No explanation needed here, am I right?
Festive Breakfast, Brunch or Dessert
It’s already so festive, but you can also add an extra touch by garnishing the crepes with some Sugared Cranberries. You can definitely make the sauces 1 or 2 days in advance – just take them out of the refrigerator 40-60 minutes prior to serving (They are better when not too cold.) And while crepes are better when they’ve just been made, you can absolutely make them in advance, too. You can easily reheat them in a microwave or simply in a pan. If using a pan, make sure it’s well preheated, and reheat them 30-60 seconds per side.
An elegant and festive recipe that can be made a few days in advance? Who does not like that?!
I hope you like Christmas Crepes with Cranberry Sauce, and you will try them soon. If you make it, let me know in this post or send me an Instagram message or share you photos adding the hashtag #havocinthekitchen.
Cheers!

Directions
- Cranberry Sauce:
- In a saucepan combine the butter and honey over low-medium heat, cook for 2 minutes. Add the cranberries, orange zest, and spices. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the berries are bursting (But some still remain whole.) Off heat and cool for about 30-40 minutes, before serving.

Hi – I’m Ben, a blogger, recipe developer, and food photographer. I’m glad you’re here! I hope you will enjoy hundreds of delicious recipes and a pinch of havoc in the kitchen.
These look amazing!
I want to do a beautiful presentation for Christmas Eve dessert- could I flambee these like crepe susette?
Thanks!
Hi Cathy – thank you so much!
It is possible to flambee these crepes if you tweak the recipe by adding high-proof alcohol (i.e., cognac, brandy, triple sec, etc.) Besides, you will need to increase the amount of sauce reaching the “syrupy” consistency, so can fold in and soak the crepes (by adding more butter, orange juice, cranberry juice, a bit of sugar, etc.) You will also need to slightly increase the cooking time for the cranberry sauce – perhaps another 5-7 minutes once you have added the alcohol.
Or you can try this new recipe https://www.havocinthekitchen.com/crepes-with-cranberry-orange-sauce/ – you don’t need to tweak it, and it can be flambéed.
I hope you enjoy some crepes for your holidays.
Cheers!

Thank you Marissa!
What a festive brunch idea! I do love crepes, but I rarely make them. It’s cold and dreary here, and I’m thinking a plate of these crepes would make things feel warmer…even if it’s just inside! Love this idea, Ben!
