Hello, folks! How are you doing? I hope you all had a good start to this new week and that it continues this way.
And if you require something super special (and slightly naughty) to navigate through this week, I’ve got something special for you. This Boozy Limoncello Lavender Milkshake, precisely.
Lemon Lavender Milkshake with Limoncello
If you love spiked milkshakes, you will love this Boozy Limoncello Lavender Milkshake recipe. It is a breeze to make and a lot of fun to enjoy.
To make it, you will need the following ingredients:
- Limoncello – a traditional Italian lemon liqueur. It adds flavour and sweetness to this milkshake.
- Vanilla ice cream. Be sure to let the ice cream sit at room temperature until it starts to soften, 10 to 15 minutes, for easy blending. Also, as Limoncello is quite sweet, I recommend going with ice cream brand that has a lesser sugar content. You can play with other flavours like lemon, strawberry, or even lavender.
- Lavender syrup or dried lavender buds for flavouring. The syrup is the easiest way to incorporate a lavender aroma. But it also makes an already sweet drink even sweeter. So, if you would like to decrease the level of sweetness – or add more Limoncello instead – use lavender buds. Just be sure to rub them between your fingers or mince nicely before adding to other ingredients.
- And if you are using lavender-infused ice cream, you can omit lavender completely.
- Lemons – add freshness and balance out the sweetness.
- Milk – optional, only if you prefer a thinner milkshake. But you can also add more Limoncello for this purpose.
- White chocolate – optional, for garnish.
What’s the Flavour Profile of Boozy Lemon Lavender Milkshake
This Boozy Lemon Lavender Milkshake is a sweet and luscious drink.
It has a lovely citrusy lemon flavor, which is elevated by Limoncello to a different, more complex level. Limoncello is tart and sweet, and depending on brand, it may have some pleasant bitterness, which I love.
And, of course, there are floral notes coming from lavender.

Everything Limoncello works for me! Lavender? Oh yes, I’m in!
Another winner, Ben — lemon and lavender are so good together… and now it’s a milkshake! Very cool (cold?)!
This creamy milkshake is perfect for breakfast!
What a delicious and refreshing combo! Love the Lavender in this treat! When my daughter and I were in Italy, we made limoncello floats with some limoncello we bought when out sightseeing and some frozen yogurt. That was one of the best floats I have ever had and your delicious shake with Limoncello & Lavender reminds me of that! Beautiful pictures, Ben!
What a delicious after dinner treat!! Love the flavor combination here, Ben!
Somebody recently gifted me a bottle of lavender vodka, and told me that it’s good with lemonade. What you’ve got here seems to attest to that flavor combination, but it looks so much more luscious! I’ll bet it’s refreshing! (Hey, nice new look to your blog, btw,)
That sounds and looks incredibly delicious. It must have been over a couple of decades since I last had a milkshake…now I wish I could have one!
This must be so refreshing on a hot summers night.
This sounds insanely good! Growing up, milkshakes were all about chocolate or strawberry from fast food joints, never imagined they could be this fancy or boozy. I am all in for this one.
