This Spiced Grapefruit Curd with fragrant thyme and aromatic pink peppercorns is a luscious and refreshing spread for anything you fancy!
Hello, everyone. I hope you are doing well. Let me guess: some of you might temporarily be working from home, right? While we are all adjusting our lives nowadays, let’s keep it positive. That’s a temporary thing, and everything will start going back to normal very soon.
Also, I’ve brought you this delightful Spiced Grapefruit Curd to cheer your up! First of all, some extra vitamin C in a sweet form is always a good idea. Secondly, who doesn’t love some delicious citrus curd? Lastly, that’s not just any citrus curd. Grapefruit is not extremely common curd flavour – but OMG – it’s fantastic! Besides, I have incorporated aromatic thyme and pink peppercorns that elevate this recipe to a more sophisticated, elegant flavour. The bitter grapefruit taste combined with refreshing aromatic ingredients.
In fact, I love adding some extra flavourings like herbs and spices to curd recipes. Please check this Lavender Lemon Curd and this Tangerine Thyme Cardamom Curd.
This Spiced Grapefruit Curd might not look as glossy and shiny as any other citrus curd recipes, but I think that is because of the additional flavourings. Most importantly, the taste is here, and it’s great!
Cheers for now and take care!

Hi – I’m Ben, a blogger, recipe developer, and food photographer. I’m glad you’re here! I hope you will enjoy hundreds of delicious recipes and a pinch of havoc in the kitchen.
This looks absolutely luscious. I’m a huge fan of fruit curds and citrus in general and the addition of pink peppercorns and thyme is absolutely inspired.
I’ve had grapefruit curd on my list to make for awhile so I’m glad you’re confirming that it’s delicious! I love the sound of the spices in here too! Stay healthy, my friend!
I’m with you there Ben, keeping positive about the current situation is the main thing at the moment. Taking each day as it comes. Now, I’ve never had a grapefruit curd before. I make lemon curd so I’m really intrigued as to how this would taste. I’ve got to make this soon! Hope you are well and stay healthy my friend!
What a fun idea to make grapefruit curd! I do love grapefruit, but I’ve never thought about making curd out of it. The thyme in there is the perfect flavor pairing, too! I can think of so many ways to use this curd. Yum! Stay healthy, my friend!
