This Cinnamon Raisin Millet Porridge is a delicious gluten-free breakfast that is easy, healthy, and hearty.
Hello folks! How are you doing? I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and you will have a great week ahead of you.
Also, can you believe it’s March already? I mean, we only had Christmas like… a few days ago, and here we are!
Today, I am sharing with you a great breakfast idea for all who love porridge. Hello, Cinnamon Raisin Millet Porridge!
Cinnamon Raisin Millet Porridge
This porridge will require about 40 minutes of your time from start to finish (about 20 minutes of cooking time, plus another 10-15 minutes of resting). Yes, this might be quite a long time for your morning routine, but the result is worth it. Also, you can absolutely enjoy the leftovers the next day (by simply microwaving the refrigerated leftovers). For example, this recipe serves 3 to 4 people, I had one generous serving left for myself the following morning. That’s a win-win, in my book.
And the flavour profile? Superb, too!
The combination of milk, raisins, cinnamon, and honey is somewhat nostalgic. And they all go well together with millet.

This Cinnamon Raisin Millet Porridge sounds like the perfect breakfast for those cold mornings! I love how comforting and wholesome it is, with a blend of warm spices and sweetness from the raisins and honey, mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Thank you, Raymund!
That looks so tasty! The funny thing is that I had to look up the translation for millet (I am Dutch) and I don’t think I ever tried cooking with that. Will definitely put it on my list of things to try!
Thank you – I hope you will like it!
This is the second recipe I’ve seen this week using millet which I have not made in years. Your recipe looks hearty and delicious.
