This Earl Grey Lavender Milkshake is a delicious refreshing summer drinkable dessert with a complex botanical flavour of bergamot orange and lavender. A breeze to make, be sure to enjoy it while warm days are still here.
Hello folks! How are you doing? I hope this week has been treating you well, and you are getting ready for the weekend. And importantly, this is going to be the extended weekend for many us!
And while the days are finally getting comfortably warm (and nights are pleasantly fresh), summer is not over yet. So, folks, don’t worry about pumpkins and apples too much yet. Be sure to sneak a few summer recipes before fall officially stats in three weeks!
Last year (and this season I’ve been mostly posting recipes I tried last year) I had a huge kick on making milkshakes. They are a lot of fun to make and enjoy, but I think they are often overlooked by food bloggers. No worries, I got your covered! :)
Earl Grey Lavender Milkshake
It would be an understatement to say that this Earl Grey Lavender Milkshake was delicious. In fact, I think it is the most delicious from those I have tried so far. It is sweet and with a lovely hint of lavender. And the best part is the tea which beautifully offsets the sweetness.
By the way, lavender and Earl Grey flavours go so well together, too. Be sure to check this Earl Grey Lavender Dessert Risotto and this Earl Grey Lavender Ice Cream.

Sorry — tea and I are not friends! But doing a bergamot flavor with lavender would be awesome!
Thank you David!
Say what!? Tea in milkshake form? Now that’s something I would never have thought about. When I think milkshake, I go to the more traditional flavors…but this is such a great idea!
Thank you David!
I love milkshakes and these flavors are over the top!! Sounds amazing. As always your presentation is beautiful.
Thank you Judee!
There’s a local ice cream shop that makes a mean earl grey lavender milkshake — I really need to make this at home! Absolutely love this flavor combo :)
Me too :)
Thank you Michelle!
I’ve never bern a huge fan of milkshakes, I’m guessing it’s because I grew up in a European household and we just never had them, of course we had ice cream and even sorbet but not milkshakes! Having said that, this os a flavour combination I would love to try.
Thank you Eva!
I think I might try this with brewing the tea in the milk? Or maybe even making some Earl Grey tea ice cream, as I love the flavour.
Yes, both would be great options!
You have me want to rush to the kitchen and make one for myself too! Lovely flavour and so pretty, Ben.
Haha thank you, Angie!
