This refreshing and luscious Passion Fruit Peach Cocktail is a lovely summer drink. Made with gin, peach liquor, passion fruit, and lime, it is like a tropical paradise in drink form!
Jump to RecipeHello everyone and cheers to Friday! I hope you are doing well, and you are totally ready to celebrate the weekend with a cocktail or two. If so, I am absolutely happy to share something tasty with you :)
It is going to be another heat wave here down in Nova Scotia (It has been like that for a couple of days.) That means no actual cooking for me, even though I would love to make and photograph some crepes… but nope, not this weekend, I guess. Instead, I will stick to something refreshing and cold.
Passion Fruit Peach Cocktail
This Passion Fruit Peach Cocktail definitely fits the bill. It is fruity, summery, sweet, and relatively light. But it also has got some character!
For this recipe I used gin, peach liquor (Â Dr. McGillicuddy’s brand; note: not sponsored), fresh passion fruit, and lime. If you do not have fresh passion fruit, canned pulp will do, although it is not as flavourful. You can also add a little of grenadine just for a lovely colour and added sweetness, but this is totally optional.
Personally, I love serving most of my cocktails on the rocks. Ice definitely dilutes the spirits, so you may want to skip it for a stronger version.

minutesThis refreshing and luscious Passion Fruit Peach Cocktail is a lovely summer drink. Made with gin, peach liquor, passion fruit, and lime, it is like a tropical paradise in drink form!Â
Ingredients
1 oz. gin of your choice
1 oz. peach liquor (I used Dr. McGillcuddy’s 21% peach liqueur )
1 fresh passion fruit, pulp
1/2 oz. lime juice
few drops of grenadine (optional) – adds colour and sweetness
ice cubes
passion fruit, mint, lime for garnish (optional)
Directions
- In the shaker, combine the gin, liqueur, passion fruit pulp, lime juice, grenadine (if using) and ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Try and adjust the flavour by adding more gin, lime juice or grenadine, if desired. Filter if desired (for a stronger version) or serve on the rocks. If serving without ice, you might want to top it with a little bit tonic / water, if it’s too strong. Garnish as desired and enjoy!

Wow – passion fruit and peach! This is a great cocktail for us now, as peaches are in season. The two fruits don’t cross here in the desert, but I saved somepassionfruit juice for a rainy day! (Oh, if we only got rain…)
Your Passion Fruit Peach Cocktail sounds like the ultimate summer drink, and I’m already imagining myself sipping it on a warm sunny day.
Thank you Raymund!
Ah, another reminder of the fact that I can’t seem to find fresh passion fruit around here. What’s your secret, Ben?? Are you growing these in your backyard? :-) This cocktail does sound delicious. Perfect for 5:00 on a Friday!

Hope the heat wave breaks soon Ben. A virgin version of this with soda would be great to stay hydrated.
