Cranberry Mimosa

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a cozy and relaxing holiday. And while Christmas might be over (Although it’s 12 days of Christmas, remember?), the holiday season isn’t yet. We still have a New Year’s Eve to celebrate. And for us it lasts until January 2nd which is Andrew’s birthday. As you see, there’s still a plenty reasons to celebrate.

But before we talk about new recipe, please let me suggest you check the previous one – Dulce De Leche Chocolate Bonbons. I really am happy and proud of those bonbons.

This season I’ve shared many festive cocktail ideas with you.

And now I am sharing this Cranberry Mimosa which is perfect for New Year’s celebration. Most of you, I believe, are familiar with this refreshing cocktail. And the addition of cranberries make it so good for winter holidays.

A mimosa cocktail is composed of champagne and chilled citrus juice, usually orange juice. Often an orange liquor (Such as Grand Marnier) is also used. For this version, simply substitute cranberry for orange juice. Easy and so tasty!

The proportion of is up to you, but I would say 1/3 of the juice to 2/3 of the champagne is an optional ratio. Plus a splash of orange liquor if available. And of course keep expensive champagne for a different occasion. Good quality but not too expensive champagne or sparkling wine will do.

I hope you like this refreshing Cranberry Mimosa, and you will enjoy it for your New Year’s Eve celebration. If you make it, let me know in this post or send me an Instagram message or share you photos adding the hashtag #havocinthekitchen.

Cheers to New 2022 Year!
