Ingredients You’ll Need for This Recipe

  • Vodka: Use regular or vanilla vodka for the base. Vanilla vodka adds a subtle sweetness and enhances the flavour beautifully, but plain vodka works just as well.
  • Crème de cacao (white): Light (white) crème de cacao gives this creamy white Christmas cocktail its signature flavour – delicate, sweet, and gently chocolatey. You can use any white chocolate liqueur for a similar effect.
  • Vanilla seeds: Use half a vanilla bean, split and scraped, for that natural vanilla fragrance and tiny specks that make the drink look beautiful.
  • Ice: A handful of ice chills the mixture perfectly, creating a smooth, frothy texture when shaken.
  • White chocolate (optional): Shaved white chocolate adds a lovely decorative touch and an extra hint of sweetness for garnish.
