This Lingonberry Brie Naan Pizza is loaded with flavor and a cinch to prepare. Also, it is perfect for your Christmas brunch or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads such as Naan

  • 1 small red onion, sliced (2/3 cup sliced)

  • 2 tbsp. (30 g) butter

  • 1 tbsp. (15 ml.) balsamic vinegar

  • 1/2 tbsp. (10 g) honey

  • a pinch of salt

  • 1/2 tsp. fresh rosemary, minced

  • 1/4 cup (60 g) cream cheese, plain or with herbs / garlic

  • 1/3 cup (85 g) lingonberry jam – or cranberry jam

  • 150 gr. brie or camembert

  • 4-5 large thin slices ham or prosciutto

  • 1/3 cup (35 g) pecans

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. (~400 degrees F)
  • In a small saucepan melt the butter and sauté the onion, over low medium heat, 5-7 minutes, until soft. Add the balsamic, honey, salt, and rosemary, and let it cook for 5 minutes more. Off heat.
  • Arrange the bread on a lined baking sheet
  • Spread the cream cheese over the naan bread. Scatter the onions over the cream cheese.
  • Roll up 4-5 slices of ham (together) and then slice them. Place these spirals on the naan.
  • Drop the lingonberry jam in few spots. Finish with pecans and brie.
  • Bake for about 8-9 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  • When serving, sprinkle with more rosemary.
