Helloooo everyone! Happy Friday! We should definitely celebrate it with a delightful boozy cocktail. Besides, according to our forecast, tomorrow our heat wave will be over. Finally, after almost a week. Please forecast team, don’t let us down with your forecast haha.
As you probably noticed, I’ve been obsessed with boozy cocktails this summer. It was hard tot no notice, right? Specifically, I am all about light, fruity, and herbal infused drinks. There’s a full list of the recently posted ideas in case you’re interested.

This sounds like a fun cocktail party, isn’t it?!
Blackberry Lavender Cocktail
This Blackberry Lavender Cocktail is also light and fruity. I consider this a delightful dessert-style cocktail. For this cocktail, you will need extra dry Martini Vermouth and gin, which you can swap for rum if you prefer. Either way, this will be luscious!
Obviously, you will need to make Lavender Simple Syrup first. But I wouldn’t say the herbal flavour is quite distinctive. Blackberries play the predominant role here. By the way, if you don’t like lavender, you can easily use other herbs such as fresh mint, basil, or tarragon here.
But I certainly hope you’re fine with lavender, and you will try this Blackberry Lavender Cocktail soon. If you make it, let me know in this post or send me an Instagram message or share you photos adding the hashtag #havocinthekitchen.
Cheers and happy weekend!
Another pretty cocktail, loving all the colours here. Very deceptive, it may look like a cooler but it looks potent
Another stunner, Ben. Simply gorgeous. I love all of your uses of lavender recently — the melon especially. I’d feel so proud to serve this cocktail with its impressive beauty and flavor. Can’t wait to try it. :-) ~Valentina
Lynne is the one in our household who loves cocktails Ben. She sure would love this. Such amazing colours you’ve got there too!
I’m always ready for a cocktail come the weekend; heatwave or not! And the color and flavor of blackberries makes this one look stunning!
This sounds like my kind of way to celebrate Fridays! I love blackberries, and I love cocktails. I’m not sold on the lavender (you know me!), but I’m willing to try it out. Cheers, buddy!
Did the heatwave break? Hopefully it did :)
This is just too beautiful! Purple colour is just so sexy, isn’t it?! I bet it tastes amazing too. Cheers!
