With this luscious Blood Orange Curd, I am celebrating the season of gorgeous blood oranges!
I have just figured out a new sign.
The formula is simple: once you feel the end of the blood oranges season, you are getting more and more panicky. It is such a peculiar feeling I cannot even properly describe. It is not about being panic indeed. It is more about being anxious because you have not worked with blood oranges that often yet. In other words, you are not sick and tired of using them yet, but they are about to disappear. It’s a very disappointing fact, isn’t it?
Oh, blood oranges!
If I were a poet, I would write a piece of poetry or better an ode to the blood oranges.
But I am not a poet at all.
I am not an artist or composer as well.
So, let’s hope somebody will do that instead of me, sooner or later. Realy, they (blood oranges deserve that).
In the meanwhile, I can contribute to this in a way I am familiar with – cooking.
